Identifying and developing endpoints necessary for use in clinical trials is a cornerstone of KRN's work. Relevant, achievable endpoints include clinical and patient reported outcomes.

Patient reported outcomes (PRO) are measures that help to collect information directly from patients about how they feel and function. Clinician reported outcomes (ClinRO) standardize historically subjective assessments to support trial conduct and clinical care.

The Nephrotic Syndrome PRO Consortium is part of the Kidney Research Network and is directed in partnership with NephCure Kidney International (NKI), academic and industry experts.  We collaborate closely with the Prepare-NS project to move the development of these tools forward.
